Bad Blogger.......

I've been a bad blogger lately. I haven't updated my blog in at least 4 weeks. School and getting used to teaching 150+ kids and keeping track of all the paperwork that goes along with all of that has kept me pretty busy.

I have been crafting some and I will post pics soon. I will also post pics of my classroom. It keeps changing much to the chagrin of my kids but hey.......I'm embracing change in 2009.

Love you. Thank you for all the kind words of encouragement and the prayers. Special thanks to Stephanie @ withagrin.blogspot.com and Kathryn @ thescrapbeach.blogspot.com.

Pink Cricut Expression & Susan G Komen

Since I began my teaching career {2 weeks ago....lol} I've come across some great people who have really taken me in and allowed me to become apart of their family of educators. One of those special people is Sherry. She's an incredible spirit and so funny. In that time I've also found out that her beloved sister died from breast cancer recently. It's been a really emotional time and Sherry has been very strong yet vulnerable. I'm so priviledged to know Sherry and just a small bit about her sister but her devotion to her sister and her family is so inspirational to me. She's also a fabulous teacher who really loves our kids, as do I.

I say all this because I've been eying a cricut expression for a while now. Saved up for it and have been sitting on the funds for quite some time just wondering if I really want to spend the money. Provo craft has just given me a reason; if not to support the Susan G. Komen foundation, but to support a fabulous person who has been directly affected by the disease of breast cancer. I will be purchasing the pink cricut.

In this video Robyn - The Pink Stamper unboxes her pink Cricut Expression.

Enjoy and be blessed.

Provo Craft has created a special pink Cricut[R] Expression and a custom YourStory[TM] kit designed to foster awareness around breast cancer. The pink Cricut Expression will also come with a pink cartridge containing images and designs specific to breast cancer awareness; the YourStory kit, which includes one album cover, three sticker sheets and 11 double-sided pages, will contain similar images and designs. Provo Craft will donate $50 per pink Cricut machine and $10 per YourStory to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure foundation when purchased at any Michaels store from August 15 to October 31.

Break out in Dance

After watching this I just want to break out in dance at the nearest public spot.......or maybe just in my living room. Love this.
