On the update front: I just started my second class for graduate school on January 15th, and in addition I am studying to take my GRE at the end of this month as well. (I have to take my GRE before the end of my current class) In addition to all that I have been working on things for the blog, a wedding scrapbook for friend, a baby book for another friend, and learning new scrapbook techniques. I'm thinking of taking a few classes online this year too in photography. My friends have been requesting me as a photographer recently since they all think I'm creative: Where do they get these ideas?? lol.

Giveaway Alert: My blogger friend of mine Naomi Chokr's husband, Amir, has just launched his blog and he's having a huge giveaway. Pearl earrings anyone?? Click the picture below to enter.

That's all for now.

CHA Summer 2010.....Oh my!

Have you seen all the wonderful, fabulous products that have been sneak peaking for the last few weeks??? Oh My Word. I can hardly keep everything straight. Thanks to Scrapbook Update I don't have to. They have a list of all the sneak peaks that have been revealed or even mentioned.

Dont even mention Prima, and My Mind's Eye, and Graphic 45, and so many more than I can name. (October Afternoon, Crate Paper, Webster's Pages, Stampers Anonymous, Glitz, Pink Paislee, Sassafras, Cosmo Cricket)....I think you get the picture. Can you imagine the damage to my pocketbook when I start hauling all this. I'm really going to have to sit down and make a list of everything I want to get now, and then things I want to get later.

Have you heard the latest from Teresa Collins and her Stampmaker?

Have a passion for stamping? Want to make your own stamps at home? Well then take a look at this.

It's the Teresa Collins Stampmaker Machine. Click on the pic for details. It's going to retail for $169.99. Now you and I can make our very own stamps at home. Straight from my imagination, into my hands, into my ink, and on paper. How awesome is that?

There are so much more out there that I hadn't come across. Hop on over to Scrapbook Update for all the details.

Hugs.

Mid-Century Modern Furniture

OMG I love love mid-century modern furniture. The simple lines, clean design, and the easy access. By easy access I mean craigslist.org. lol.

I was searching around craigslist today (for what I totally can't remember at the moment) but I came across some great vintage finds.

How awesome is this. I just love the legs on this furniture ($250 for all) and how it's not flush with the floor. I have an aversion to furniture resting on the floor. Weird I know.

And then you have this awesome cabinet ($650). I can imagine this in my dining room or even my scraproom. Man-O-Man the possibilities.

Lastly is the dining set. This just reminds me of great dinners with family.

I had a great time searching craigslist.org today. Did I purchase anything? Nope. If only I hand an extra $2K to spend and the space to put all this, I'd definitely say, "Just throw it in the bag." ala Fabolous. lol.

Blog Gazing: Scrap Room Pt. 2

One of my all time favorite things to do is watch videos of scrap rooms. And I can't believe I forgot to add this tour to my previous post

This is my all time favorite scrapper, Kristina Werner. She is the reason I am a crafter today so here is her scraproom tour.

Love the height of her work surfaces. I've been having the hardest time finding a desk chair for my craft table because it actually a counter height dining table that I found at big lots for $40. :-D

Here is a messy pic of my work space.

The Sweet Studio
As you can see it's pretty messy right now as I've been crafting all weekend as usual.

Ta ta for now.
